This is a botanical garden inside the university austral with a fear extension that people can walk entirely. They have local trees and some from the south hemisphere. It is well planed and beautifully designed along the river.

A university professor, who used to visit this place when he was studying at this university, took me here. He told he used to come here when he wanted to concentrate on something, like before an exam. It is such a quiet and peaceful place. It was in the morning and it rained a lot in the previous night. Everything... More

We spent 2 hours walking around this park. It was very relaxing, but we were a bit disappointed. We thought there would be flowers, but the park only has trees from around the world.

A small botanic garden with mature trees and shrubs around a central lawned area. There is a path that goes around the outside but you only occasionally get to see the river. Colours can be nice.

We enjoyed our walk here, too bad there are few signs with the name of the different trees. we often wondered what we were looking it. Enormous beautiful trees, very nice.

As a student, I always dreamed about a university with a huge garden to sit down, relax, and concentrate in studying. In Valdivia, there is such a place. To access the University, you have to go through a road covered by trees in both sides, beautiful. It was planned like that, by the man who founded the place years ago,... More

Great place to walk. Flowers are amazing during Spring, so my recommendation would be to go in November.

Easy access is the only thing that would bring you here. The labeling is very basic (e.g. only the name of the tree or plant) or the region (e.g. northern hemisphere). The whole park is only green, nothing exotic or something that would catch your eye. This place is only for those with background-knowledge or a lot of time to... More

It's pretty and relaxing, though not terribly interesting. On a Monday, it's the best you can do, but any other day I'd spend precious time elsewhere.
