Beautiful walks and view of the city
Nov 2019 • Couples
Brilliant exercise with well established trails (recommend good walking shoes though). Beautiful forest and also some playgrounds for children in various areas. Bird song and great views of the city. 3000 pesos per person (about 6 NZD). Also accesible by vehicle. We spent about 3 hours walking around and really enjoyed it

Lovely place
Dec 2018 • Couples
This is a lovely natural area at the edge of Temuco. The trails are not blazed but it's not hard to follow the map posted at the entrance. Good views from the top.

Great hike in one of few preserved natural forests
Nov 2018 • Solo
I've spent almost a whole day hiking through this amazing park in Temuco. After a couple of months in South America, this was the first time I walked through the forest that really looks like regular European forest. :) That was very interesting experience for me and reminds me on my home. Everything was green, trees and bushes looked like from my home place, but of course they were completely different. I saw a lot of birds and some lizards and butterflies. The place is incredibly clean, true nature. There are couple of seesights, but the best thing is you can walk on the countless trails and probably won't meet anyone for hours. Use Maps.Me or other GPS app, because the signs are scarce. There is a drinking water just after the first entrance from the town, on the right side. Entrance is free.

Great view of the city! Good place to visit for hiking and letting the kids play. You can see many different trees and plants native to Chile.

Great view of Temuco and Mapuche holy site
Oct 2018 • Friends
I went with friends and did not hike. We drove to the top and caught an excellent view of all of Temuco. We also visited the Mapuche holy site which is still used on occasion for their ceremonies. It is an interesting and attractive place. It was cold in Temuco and colder up there.

A great place to hike
Dec 2017 • Friends
Dates: Sunday, Dec. 2017
Cost: $2.000CLP/pp for foreigners
Pros:
- Lots of trails to walk around with plenty of shade and quiet spots to sit and enjoy nature
- Beautiful lookout spots to take pictures of the surrounding city.
- You could definitely take a picnic and enjoy time out in nature here.
- Plenty of parking spaces.
Cons:
- It's easy to get lost on a trail such that you have to trek back quite a bit of ways to get back to your car to check your phone often (you do have a signal)
- We thought the restaurant would be open so we did not take any food with us the day we went and for whatever reason it was not open nor were any hour posted.
Overall: We definitely plan to go back here and have a picnic and hike around the area, it's beautiful.

Several trails and miradores in pretty forest
Dec 2017 • Solo
Worth visiting: a nice piece of nature with several trails and look-outs. The central mirador is the best, other's are so so. Nice to visit, stroll around. Not a must-do

Great for hikes and views
Nov 2017 • Solo
I spent a few hours hiking up this hill in Temuco and it was worth it. The hiking paths are well kept and the views are beautiful. Many families were enjoying the place on a Sunday.
