If you are planning to go, just make sure to get in a tour at Puerto Varas. Driving up the ladder can be dangerous, and sometimes you wont be able to reach the ski area due to weather conditions, so better safe than sorry!

This place is beautiful. Lots of snow on the peak, even in Summer. You can view the volcano from a boat ride on Lago Todos los Santos, which makes it a great juxaposition for the volcano. Lots of nature to love here.
