Warning: This is a long review, because I think this trip deserves one. Here's a quick "I don't want to read all of that" section in case you're in a rush (which if that's the case, this ferry might not be for you): 1. I LOVED my time on the ferry 2. The food far surpassed my (INSANELY low) expectations.... More

We've just come off the Eden Navimag ferry, Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt. I've just been reading some of the reviews posted before me and I've got to say that they are generally pretty fair both the good ones and the bad ones. However if you don't find the worst ones hilarious then you really shouldn't consider taking Navimag. There... More

After reading very varied reviews of this voyage we decided to buy this ferry ride through the Patagonian fjords. We booked last minute at the Navimag office in Puerto Natales. Bought the CC cabin for 2 due to us travelling for over a year we had too much luggage to share the cabin. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice... More

Four of us hopped on the Navimag ferry in Puerto Montt and 4 days later hopped off in Puerto Natales. We had a tight squeeze in one room with two sets of bunkbeds but managed just fine. Had our own designated washroom just down the hall. The ferry food was more than adequate and i was quite surprised how good... More

It's not a cruise ship but we didn't expect it would be. Finding the meeting point was a challenge. We had a lot of conflicting information. Finally on the day before we were to sail we received an email directing to be at the Holiday Inn Express between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We arrived around 11:00 and finally around... More

Comfy little cabin, with private bath. Meals are included. You might want to bring some snacks. Also a really interesting thing that no one ever mentions about the NaviMag long distance runs: we went from Puerto Montt to Puerto Chacabuco. It was scheduled to leave at 11AM Sunday. You have to check in the day before, in person. The office... More

This is a great way to see the Patagonia Fjords. Four day cruise, great scenery, good food. The staff is friendly, Percy was our host. He was knowledgeable, funny and engaging. He truly loves his job and it shows. There were two mornings where it was foggy and misty, but it cleared to a beautiful day. There is down time,... More

We are a couple in our early 30's and we debated for a few months about the navimag trip due to reading mixed reviews about the trip. We found ourselves in Puerto Natales the day before the ferry left so we took the chance and got on last minute. We are so pleased we did. The ferry is a working... More

I took the Navimag Evangelistas ferry from Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt in mid January with my son (21) and two daughters (14 and 19). We loved it. We had a nice cabin for 4 with porthole and a private bathroom. Sure the shower was barely lukewarm and it was in fact very difficult to operate. Sure the cabin was... More

We may have had a slightly different report if we had even part of one day without low clouds and rain. But we were unlucky with the weather and with our cabins. The first cabin we were assigned had no floor to the surprise of the staff. We had to be changed to another type cabin which was fine the... More
