The place is incredible, but it is very difficult to climb, even more in winter. Having a good physical condition to climb it is fundamental, because you will need it.

Beautiful place for one who wants to see the snow. I recommend taking a tour, because not all cars can go up to the base of the volcano. It's still active, but it's not dangerous. Also the landscape is amazing.

The drive there is quite worthwhile for those who are not hikers. The views are much more impressive. There are restaurants here as well . You will also find cabins and camping areas. It is only 20 minutes from town

Only so far, before you get in snow then you really need a guide if you want to go to the top it is dangerous otherwise.

There are multiple guide companies in Pucon that include transportation, equipment and a guide. Summit Chile I recommend but there are multiple good ones all about the same price!
