Merlion Park is on Marina Bay and it features a number of restaurants and some of the best gardens imaginable. Take a cruise on the river; it's well worth it.

The lion is the national symbol of Singapore. It is a very pretty place and overlooks the bay. A must visit place if you visit Singapore.

Typical tourist thing to do, I walked round that side of the bay and came across it, so busy I couldn't even take a proper picture there but it was ok. Stand further away either side and you stand more chance of taking the cheesy picture and then keep walking over the helix bridge to the marina bay sands and... More

The Lion State can't be visited without going to Merlion Park on Marina Bay. This Iconic Statue is just one of the must do sights. The whole area is wonderful to walk around with plenty of things to see and do. From a ride on the Singapore River to high end eating. Go by day and come back at night... More

Merlion park is a must see while in singapore. Very easy to get to and you can join the hundreds of other tourists there. But it is worth it.

The merlion is one of the many features of Singapore that people visit. Just behind the large merlion is a smaller one that doesn't shoot water but is just as good. Well worth a visit!

This is the iconic Singapore tourist place. Try and line up the water in the mouth photo of course. On the river, tour boats available, easy walking bridge and esplanade with restaurants. Off course go

It's worth visiting the Singapore Merlion fountain with great views all around. Has to be seen when visiting Singapore and does not have to take long at all. One to tick off your list.

Since it is one of the tourist attractions in Singapore, the park becomes too crowded that you can't take a photo without photobombers!! LOL!! Better to visit at night so it's not very hot! Must wear comfortable clothing as this is an open area and have direct sunlight!! I thought that we will be amazed coz it is very famous... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
