Busy area

There were a lot of tourists here, a very busy area. The merlion was good to see, particularly at night time. Hard to get a photo without lots of people around.

This was the first place we visited after setting foot in Singapore. It's nice and worth one visit. It was my first impression.

Traditional place to visit in Singapore. Popular attraction in SIngapore. Park was clean and good for photo shoot.

Literally a lion spewing water. Great for cliche photo opportunities but not much else to do really ...

We cheered with joy when she reached the complex of the Merlion statue. Never imagined, we can get going on a holiday in Singapore. Clean air, comfortable city and is also the perfect place to take pictures at any angle. Do not forget to bring tools to take pictures with the camera, enjoy your time

This is amongst most popular photo ops places in the city. Alarmist everybody goes here and Heer some good photos, which they then post on social media. In my opinion this place is over rated , though good. Most of the attractions here are paid with ticket and over priced. A good way to be economical and efficient is avoid... More

A must do visit for all visiting Singapore for the first time, and featured in all the tours. The mythical beast spouts water into the bay, and must be the most photographed site in the city.

If you visit Singapore, you must visit the Merlion Park as this iconic Sigapore. Its very easy to get here and just take a quick picture with this in the background to share with your friends.

It is situated at the heart of The Central Business District. There are many cafes, pubs and eateries along the stretch of the board walk. It is easily accessible by MRT train. I suggest that you get "lost" exploring The Central Business District where tall buildings of famous banks stands. There are many Hawker centres around the CBD too. Hawker... More

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
