This a hidden gem! An active monastery and a also a Buddhist university. Students come from all over Asia to learn Buddhism there. You can walk around its many beautiful temples. Do not go on weekends as it is a very active place of worship and so very busy. But during the week days, you can walk almost alone and... More

Came here by chance as it was near the Bishan MRT The place is well kept, clean and very quiet. Place for worship and contemplation, not just for a photo op. Make sure to look up amd observe the different stories and artwork on the walls and ceilings.

Kong Meng Shan Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) also known as Bright Hill Temple is just like any place of worship and prayers. You would feel relax, mindful and tranquil after your visit. Today, it is the most significant and renowned monasteries in Southeast Asia in my opinion, housing several gigantic Buddha statues. Many come to the Medicinal Buddha, requesting... More

It was very easy to find by car. There is free parking available. I was by myself so I wasn't sure if I was allowed to go in an explore. From the outside it looks beautiful. I recommend going to see this.

We visited this pagoda in June 2016. This is the largest pagoda in Singapore with beautiful gardens, fish lakes, temples. MRT Bishan, then change to bus 410W ($1.4/pax, please prepare the money and the driver will not exchange money), will arrive in 3 stops. Return with bus 52.

I hope this place remains less touristic, because it is a holy place and a place where devotees remember the dead.

This is a huge temple complex. Very peaceful. Abit tricky to reach with mrt and bus. Unless you just want to take a cab. Very beautiful.

This is a large temple well worth a visit. It is very nice to walk around the temple grounds and admire the architecture. There are lots of Buddha statues and Buddhist areas to see. The grounds are excellently kept and you can spend over an hour walking around finding inner peace. We had a very sunny day which showed up... More
