as always these gardens are well worth visiting, unfortunately at the moment you cannot visit the wet house with the best orchids as it is being renewed

Went as nothing else was open before ten am. Nice walk around, orchids were beautiful and the rainforest walk was good

Great gardens. I loved Gardens by the Bay even more but this free site does not disappoint. Singapore has a wealth of natural goodness.

A must do when in Singapore, best time to visit is early morning between 7-9. Earlier if you are an early riser. Gates open at 6. It's humid so dress light with good walking shoes. Lots of walking to do. Keep a good 2 hrs....More

I would suggest taking the train from Newton MRT and alight at Botanic Gardens Station.

Gardens by the Bay is a different attraction to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. In both attractions the outer gardens are free to enter, but contain paid sites inside. The greenhouses at GBTB are 28SGD to enter and the... More

Oh yes.. the weather will probably be warmer but there's lots of shady areas. If the heat gets into you, you can always check into air conditioned souvenir shops and pretend to browse. Not to say there is nothing interesting... More
