About
Born from passion, and established in October 2021, Black Crow Taxidermy & Art [BCTA] combines Nature, Science & Art to create one-of-a-kind art pieces - filling the gap of creating an experiential & educational nature experience in our concrete jungle. Helmed by Vivian Tham, BCTA is the only taxidermy company in Singapore offering educational talks, workshops & pet preservation services. BCTA operates on a “no catch-no kill” policy with all their specimens and gives back to nature by conservation actions, donations & working with NGOs. BCTA works closely with various government organizations such as the Singapore Tourism Board, National Heritage Board and more to further advance the art of Taxidermy.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We love every second of it. What a unique experience to work with taxidermized butterflies and other creatures, learn more about them. The instructors are so friendly and lovely and definitely passionate about their work and art.

A really magical place tbh, owners are very knowledgeable about the pieces they keep and anything pertaining to taxidermy. the variety here is amazing. 10/10 would recommend anyone with an interest in taxidermy and anything beautiful to come check them out!

Black crow taxidermy was such a fun experience! My husband and I built a butterfly dome together, which was a great bonding experience and a memorable keepsake to take back home. I definitely recommend this experience to learn more about taxidermy, preservation, as well as having a fun time!

Had an amazing time doing the Couple’s Butterfly Dome Workshop. We ended up with an exquisite dome with eight butterflies, several flowers, moss, and rocks. Neither of us have done anything like this before and the staff were so helpful with tips and tricks. Turned out better than we could have imagined.

Totally enjoyed this unique experience. Was thoroughly engrossed in the 1.5h workshop where we were guided by our engaging trainer, Nicole. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a fun time that’s unlike any other.

Here for the couple dome workshop. Had an amazing experience with my boyfriend. The butterflies are so pretty I cannot stop amazing at them like a little kid. Whole place is magical. Instructor very informative, friendly and helpful. We had lots of fun

Fun way to learn about animal anatomy! Did the butterfly workshop but you are surrounded by ethically - received animals of all kinds. Got to appreciate much more about the animals around us. Recommend the workshop for butterfly for beginners

the butterfly dome workshop was a very enlightening experience, and I enjoyed it thoroughly! very interesting process, and we were able to admire the wide variety of beautiful samples on display as well. instructors are very friendly as well, and made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. would recommend this for anyone, and I would definitely do it again! :)

This is our first time. We love this! I would do this again. We selected 8 butterflies for the couple's experience, and we were able to make a one of a kind enclosure.

An amazing place and hidden gem! Unique to Singapore and a rare place in the world if you like the animal world then this place is great so get taxidermy. Learn about the animals from the great team here too!
