See the colourful coral right in front of your eyes or swim in one of St John’s Island’s many lagoons. You might also like to enjoy a pleasant picnic on the beach or go dolphin spotting by the water.

Not a bad place to hang out and explore the new walking trail (monthly guided tours available, contact NParks), though the island's small size and fairly steep ferry fare to get there can be little hindrances. Expect mangroves, rocky beaches, some corals, and small animals....More

It's a great place for a picnic and for some peace and serenity. Plenty of cats around. The only toilet and shower available is a 5 minute walk from the jetty and up a small hill. Get your food and drinks from the mainland as...More

I went to St John's and Lazarus island (15 min stroll, connected by a photograph-worthy bridge) on a Saturday for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of Singapore's city life. I spent half a day there enjoying the pristine beaches and soaking up...More

My girlfriend and I visited this island to see and feed the stray cats. It is a lovely natural place now made for naturists. Unfortunately it was raining all day during our visit but on arrival we saw two dolphins about 50 metres off shore...More

I wasn't able to walk around St. John's Island because I headed straight to Lazarus Beach, which is about 15-20 minutes from St. John's dock. Loved my stay at the Lazarus Beach. It was quiet, clean and a pretty decent white beach in Singapore. Definitely...More

A short ferry ride from Marina South Pier, and you'd find yourself at St John's Island... walk a bit further, to get to Lazarus Island, where you'd be rewarded with a nice beach, clean enough to swim, and enjoy the sun. There is no shop...More

Take the boat, pack a picnic and plenty of drinks - then simply explore! Great for swimming, strolls and simply enjoying the view across the Singapore straits.

I can't speak for all cats naturally, but I do know that most of the street cats would prefer wet food. They may be a bit more choosy since there are lots of cat lovers feeding them and they tend to have preference for wet... More

The only way to book St John's accommodation is via phone. We can't post links here but just google "sentosa st john island" and it should be the first link. The one on sentosa website.
