The shelving is a little bit but you can find just about anything in this shopping complex. I found that most items are cheaper than other shops. Conveniently located close to Little India MRT station and buses.

I love the food and the experience. Great atmosphere, but above all, GREAT food! I go here with friends, the kids or just with my husband. Try different curries, have naan, bites, biryani, everything! And have a Tiger beer while you are at it :)...More

The food is fantastic at the Teka centre! Brilliant food stalls and my favourite by far is Madina Mubaraka, really is a must visit for some of the best Indian food you’ll ever have!

With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of
Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander
past traditional barbershops while local residents in
brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from
decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful
shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge.
Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts
and take in the stalls selling bright flowers,

I haven't bought a saree in Singapore but there are certainly plenty to choose from at Tekka in many standards of quality. Find one you like then try your negotiating skills.

Yes. Today is the second day and most of the stall owners are Indians. So they should be open for business
