Bugis street is packed with variety of goods. They are quite cheap in comparison to rates at malls. However, that is s where the comparison ends. The quality of goods are not the same. Cheap price, cheap quality. Besides, clothes cannot be tried on. But can buy small souvenirs to take home.

Bugis Street is night market. But more expensive than those in other SE Asia country. I like very much the t-shirts on sale with I love Singapore signage

So many stalls... My sure what else to say. Relatively easy to get to and you are able to barter the prices down with a lot of the stores, but all in all i wouldn't go out of my way to get there. It's very busy and from what i looked at (spending about 2 hours looking at a lot... More

We were hesitant to go to bugis street as we had been to Chinatown, but I am glad we went. The shopping is very different from Chinatown. It is a full on market at Bugis St and the wares are so cheap. We had S$1 fresh juice which was delicious. My son bought a touch screen watch for S$5 and... More

Bugis St is predominantly female clothing and predominantly cater for smaller sizes! A lot of other things there too: shoes and novelties etc. Is a very busy crammed place. A good atmosphere though ! Go a bit earlier though as it gets more crowded the later it gets!
