We have stayed at the Downtown East Resort a number of years ago, it is a great place for a family style holiday - it is where Singaporeans go for a "At Home" holiday, so before booking ensure it is not a Public Holiday when you intend to go as it will be very busy, but having said that it... MacDonald is closed for now as it undergoing renovation. You do have subway and KFC still operating. Pretty popular with families. Parking is ample as there are plenty of parking lots opposite downtown east at the Public carpark or within downtown east itself.

This is basically the entertainment district downtown. From bowling to movies to arcade gaming, I am sure there is something for you to do!! It has a number of restaurants you can visit when you are feeling hungry too. Wild wild wet is nearby so you can take a visit as well. A part of it was undergoing renovation when... More

This is the entertainment central in the East of Singapore. The complex has casual eateries, games arcade, Ferris wheel and an indoor aye ground for children. Next to the main building is the chalets, where you can stay and have BBQ with freidns and family. It's like a getaway without the need to leave the country. Great for a day... More

We visited during the week and it was pretty quite. No long q's to stand in and my 7yr old son had endless fun sliding as did I. Only downside is there us only 1 food outlet so not much choice available. The park is super clean and lifesavers all over. If you plan on staying till the end then... More

Many eateries ranging from restaurant type , cafe to foodcourt type food. Wide variety of local n international cuisine. Ntuc resort is next door. A fun place for family to spend a weekend. Can be quite crowfed on weekends. A huge Ntuc supermart is house within the mall.

Located in the neighborhood of Pasir Ris. MRT- green line, last stop. Nearby there is a shopping mall-Whitesands and sports complex hub. Dining experience will not be a disappointment. From Asian to western food, all can be found at 1 stop. Budget alternative will be small eatery, fast food and food court in the resort. This place is split to... More

Another regional food-beverage-entertainment complex. Beach resorts, local interest (could one say "import-substitution"?) theme parks, food-beverage-cinema outlets and their customers have called this place home over the years. Currently morphing a bit upscale. New condos springing up. Is this a "destination" for the international visitor? Probably not. But if you're looking for a visit to "the Singapore heartlands", Pasir Ris is... More
