One of the best city libraries! Different levels and sections for different interests. Electronic checking in/out for books. Separate large area for children

Swrving citizens and visitors---we took our family here reading and getting more info about Singapore and SE Asia. We enjoyed it and the srtaff was very helpful to our family.

There is a lot of restaurants around it. Even foreigners can go in to browse the books as it is open. If you take lift to the higher level, you can see some beautiful scene of Singapore

No. You need to be a resident of singapore but you are free to visit and it has nice quiet spaces you can use to read.

You may have visited the library by now. There's a young children section at the basement. Wonderful to be able to watch them roam at a secured area with many age appropriate books.
