This repurposed palace has excellent displays and presents a thorough history of not only Singapore but the entire region. Very affordable to visit and immaculately clean. A must stop while visiting Arab street or just by itself.

I was lucky to be there when there was a live performance outside - Malays drumming, dancing and singing. It's a nice open space but the museum is small and not spectacular.
