It was nice Tuesday morning to visit Sumilon Island which is a 15-min boat ride from Oslob Cebu. A well- known island for it's nice sandbar. Apparently, we visited at the wrong time. According to the boatmen, it would be best to visit in the afternoon which is low tide. Surely, sandbar will show off its beauty!

My family spend a day tour on this magnificent island, and yes it is indeed worth-ed that we enjoy the whole day using all the amenities provided. From the pool, to the Jacuzzi, kayak, fish feeding, island trekking , sand bar, drinks, great food & the white shoreline. All were perfect plus a bonus of rainy day which makes the... More

We visited the island for 2 hours after the whale watching experience from Oslob. It was very busy and crowded. People were stepping on top of corals and it was not what we expected. If we knew it is a mass tourist spot we would not have visited.

You can take a boat, they can either wait fir you or come back for you. Sand bar is amazing, the water is very clear.

The place was good as well as the food. My uncle paid for 1,500 each for a day-tour and boat transfer including the free usage of snorkelling equipment - without fins. On cons, the public beach area is not that clean. The beach was stunning, but there was a part that is filled with dried leaves which I raised to... More

I paid 900peso for return boat transfer and usage of public beach area. You can opt for another option which is 1500peso for return boat transfer plus usage of hotel facilities with private beach plus lunch. The public beach is too small that you can't even secure a spot to lie and suntan on the beach. No where to keep... More

You dont need to use filter when you have pictures in Sumilon Island and Sandbar. The water is super clear. And you'll be amazed with its torquiose blue water. We really enjoyed our stay even though we cut it short because of time constraint. The docking areas of boat for Sumilon are near the whaleshark watching area. Just ask your... More

We visited early morning right after the whale shark viewing. The island is just 5-10 mins boat ride in Oslob beach. We just paid 30 pesos each for the entrance. The water is very clear and warm, perfect to swim and relax! Will definitely be back again soon!
