We had a week in this resort - six pools and a variety of restaurants meant that there was plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and they arranged a romantic dinner on the beach for a birthday, which was exceptional. You need to be aware that this is a big resort, so you spend a lot of time in... More

Positives: everyone is friendly. The conference staff were excellent. Some staff were very attentive. Negatives: service is terrible. Calls to reception go unanswered. Staff direct you to the wrong places. You have to buy internet and you can't specify the length. Food is generally average and accompanied by bad service. Meals come out at different times. Ordering room service is... More

There is something which I did not understand. One room was Superior Grande and it was more expensive than Superior, but our breakfast was a la carte. In the same time Superior rooms had buffet breakfast. If I wanted to change to buffet I had to pay extra - why? I already paid more for the room, why I should... More

Algal bloom during the summer months in Boracay can spoil your best planned holiday. We anticipated this based from last year's experience and booked a hotel reservation on the other side of the island. Fairways and Bluewater was the perfect alternative to the White Beach hotels we're so used to. The good mix of amenities made our stay really worthwhile.... More

Fairways & Bluewater is huge, and it's great! It feels like living inside Jurassic Park, with all the roads and buildings and cars, but luckily no dinosaurs. I got a really good price and felt I was in a luxury hotel, so don't let the following cons put you off, but I still want to mention them: - a couple... More

A good friend of mine recommended us to try and stay at Fairways for our first trip in Boracay as a family. As I viewed the room rates, I think it's a bit expensive, but then again if you're traveling with a child, you'd always look after his comfort. My nine year old boy, says it's one of the most... So I'll start this review by saying if you're looking for the 'real Philippines experience' or want to be in amongst hustle and bustle then this is not the hotel for you in Boracay. However, if you're looking for a wonderful place to spend some time relaxing, eating, drinking, sunbathing and swimming then this is perfect. Staff are very friendly,... More

- Excellent in-house facilities like private beach and several pools located within the resort. I could spend majority of my time within the resort for swimming and relaxing. Private beach of Fairways is crystal clean - opposite to the green color of white beach (the green color is caused by a lot of seaweed near the beach sand - further... More
