Big Lagoon is just part of your tour, and if you're lucky, you can get the opportunity to go snorkeling in low tide, but if it's high tide, the tour operator will just tell you that you will have to stay in the boat. Plus there's a lot of sea urchins here, so remember to use protective footwear, don't just... More

Wow, definitely worth the day boat Tour A out of El Nido. Such beautiful landscape surrounding a beautiful part of the sea.

the big lagoon was one of my favourite places in el-nido. Don't be afraid to keep walking through on the shallow side to get to the deeper water. Amazing snorkeling. The water is also crystal clear!

We did this as part of Tour A; the arrival is just breathtaking... thinking what nature can do. Bonus points for the locals and government to keep the place intact and clean. We just manage to do the entrance as the low tide was on the way and still manage to get stuck once (no remarks, part of the adventure);... More

I really enjoyed our time here - I was a bit disappointed by the Small Lagoon but this more than made up for it. There were very few kayaks inside and the lagoon itself was enormous. The waters were crystal clear and there were lots of small fish but watch out for sea urchins! I'd recommend renting a kayak if... More

Entering the big lagoon in El Nido was so breathtaking. The scene was so beautiful and amazing and you can see that the place was still untouched by human abuse. Water is from blue to emerald green and thr rock formations surrounding the place was so amazing too. It would have been nice if we were able to stop and... More

Did this as part of Tour A. We stopped outside the lagoon and were told no boats are allowed in (not true). The walk to the lake was pretty smooth with little stones in places. You can rent a kayak for 300 php to take in, it is the better lagoon to take a kayak out on. The lagoon is... More

This is a good stop on the boat tour. Unfortunately, I had cut my foot on the sharp beach rocks so that made the beaches not as fun (e.g. sand and salt water getting inside cut)........which could have been prevented if I had brought water shoes. I'd go back here if I had the right water shoes.
