I really thought that by avoiding the underground river cruise was a smart decision for us non- outdoorsy couple; but, hey, when we crawled into the belly of the Cathedral Cave, my hubby and I gave each other a pat on the back for surviving...More

Cathedral Cave appears to be only accessible by dinghy and kayak. It was quite rough the day we visited. We did not enter the cave but merely stopped briefly to take pictures during our island hopping excursion.

I think if this is included in a tour, then go for it. But I wouldn't waste time to go and see just this cave. You can not go in by boat, only stay outside. It is of course cool to see the cave, but...More

Big boats can not get through this cave. It looks spectacular but swimming in it is prohibited due to strong current and sightings of sea snakes. Our boat moored at the cave's mouth for a brief while and the only thing tourists can do is...More

Worth a short stop to make a fabulous picture and then move on to the next paradise destination around!

The cathedral caves are shallow caves which are shaped like cathedral spires. Good for picture taking but not much else.

Mark, from the El Nido Resort, escorted my family into the caves. Extremely dark, scary at first but so cool. Would recommend to wear water shoes not sandals.

We went here just to take photos. The boat is unable to enter the cave and we were not allowed to swim inside because there are a lot of sea snakes. The story behind it was also interesting!

Beautiful! The rock formation was just beautiful. Got lots of pictures inside on the boat of course. Only one boat can go in at a time. We went early so there wasn't a lot of boats going in.

There were cool caves, naturally formed, with lots of sharp edges. Make sure you're protected from the jagged edges.

I is included in tour B out of El Nido. Unfortunately the boat staff usually limits the visit to a stop in front. But it is great if the tour boat lets you swim.

Who would guess that this dramatic rocky islet would hide a cave with high ceilings like a cathedral? If you are in a small boat, you could enter the cathedral .. if you come in a banca, that is too big to go in, just...More
