Just a few minutes boat ride you'll reach this relaxing, quite and beautiful island of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, Pandan Island as they call it. Blessed with fine and white sand as well as sea creatures. Best place for snorkeling. Not too far from the shore you'll find turtles. You can stop at the island for picnic or stay overnight. Accommodation... More

5 times higher environmental fee for foreigners than for Filipinos is a clear sign of the level of greed of local authorities. Add to that $50 environmental fee for foreign suckers for diving in apo reef to get a complete picture. We said "no, thanks" and moved on to other islands.

The initial booking was not the simplist, but good old PayPal made a deposit easier, Denis sent an immediate response which was a great confirmation. Once in sablayan, the trip to the Island could not be easier.. Make sure you have 250 pesos in cash to pay the ferry man as on Pandan you don't really see or use money... More

I've been sailing around in many places, and I can say this one is simply amazing. The island itself is a "common" little peaceful beautiful natural spot with sandy beaches all around, but when you jump in the water you'll be amazed. The area as been protected as a natural park since more than 15 years and its now fully... More

I was here in 2011 with a couple of friends along with my sister. At first we were worried about the electricity and the water but fortunately the resort had a different way to welcome us. They had solar powered electricity and a bar with pool tables. The restaurant there was pleasant though they did manage to pull off some... More

I stayed here one night and fascinated by the Island. I love beaches but this one is amazing. Peaceful and clean. Its more like you own the area. I love waking up in the morning and hear the chirping birds. the food is great also especillay during the dinner time.

I had a short visit of the place in Sablayan Occidental Mindoro in early November 2014. We got to the island through a rented motorized banca near the Sablayan Wet & Dry Market Fish Port. The boat ride was about 20 minutes as the sea was calm and on low tide. As we approached the shore, I saw corals flowers... More

On an island hopping trip we got to spend several hours here. The large gazebos were awesome. Nice place to keep out of the sun and keep your belongings off the sand. The restroom and shower facilities were very clean. The water was decently clear and there were some nice fish. Lots of people feed the fish so there are... More

The marine life is very nice .... it offers some variety so that you are not bored looking at one type of fish. There is always some new kind of fish showing up in front of you. And there is enough of marine life buzzing in front of your eyes all the time. In fact, you don't even have to... More
