The main attraction of this Natural Park is a beautiful lake surrounded by a preserved, majestic forest. A very cool, soothing breeze envelopes the area. Entrance fee is about 20 pesos per person. Kayak rent is 100 pesos. Boat ride is 600 pesos for up to 5/6 pax with boat men to guide through the lake. I highly recommend the... More

From Sorsogon city, we took the south bound AH26 called the Pan-Philippine highway and first went to the Mateo Hot and Cold Spring Resort. We left the place grudgingly and a half-hour drive from there took us to lake Bulusan. As soon as you enter the gate, what hits you is the serenity of the place. Beautiful, peaceful lake surrounded... More

Bulusan Lake is a little below the Bulusan Volcano itself. Although we didnt get a good view of the volcano as it was covered in clouds (it was drizzling when we went there), but the view was beautiful.. If you are a nature lover, you would love it.. There you can go ride the kayak, or trek around the lake... More

Just got here on march 21, 2016. They require you to have a guide for 150 pesos just for walking along the trail around the lake. There are constructions also. Not recommended. Maybe better next year.

We went to Bulusan Lake and did some kayaking. Although it was a bit rainy, we still enjoyed the calm waters of Bulusan Lake. Very picturesque. Will definitely go back.

Watch out guys, it is closed now because of the Typhoon, which was here before the Christmas. You can get to the lake and rent a kayak, but that's it- no trekking path are accesible. Now it is not worth the journey. Anyway we took a jeepney from Sorsogon to Gubat (40 min, 30php), then jeepney again to Bulusan (45... More

Beautiful place! Coming here was a spur-of-the-moment decision, and we're glad we did! Upon reaching the entrance arch, you will immediately feel a drop in the temperature. The air is crisp, will remind you of Tagaytay. It's probably due to the dense forest surrounding the area. The whole area is actually a protected area of rainforest, thus, if you want... More

Staff - They were really kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. They also make a killer snail meal. Guide - Our guide was over 60 years old and yet he was able to climb the mountain and get to the lake. Who can trek? - our guide is 60 and our youngest trekker with us was just 6 years old. Just keep... More

Of course the place is beautiful! But its tourism has gone a bit far with a very pricey food! There were 10 of us and we ate pancit, cold tablea drink and rice and we were charged P1,600! Quite unfair price for us budget travellers. Yes, I recommend that you go here but please don't eat here! Be warned!
