This resort has a lot of potentials. It's my 2nd time here, hoping that it has improved in terms of how it was managed. Really disappointing since they did not even fix the common rest rooms, extremely gross and poor water pressure. Also, one of the tricycle drivers did not take any precaution in terms of safety. We almost collided... More

The place is really good but I suggest that you bring your own food there because the locals there especially the one's selling seafoods, sabi alimango daw pero alimasag ang niluto para sa amin 3 pcs for 300 pesos.. grabe ang price, parang pinagkakitaan nila kami dahil kami lang ang tao nung January 29, 2017. I recommend the place, pero... More

We stayed at Puraran beach from July 29 to 30, 2016. Popularly referred to by the townsfolk as lower Puraran, the place boasts of its golden rustic sand, unspoiled beach & rocky formations, the half kilometer shallow coral reef, the marine life, barrel waves beyond and the forested mountains. Setting was very rural and laid back. So quiet & peaceful-... More

This place boasts of the majestic waves catering to the last leg of international surf competitions. There is a nice place for both novice and expert surfers. And the beach itself is a little paradise for beach bummers. This is a perfect place for budget travellers and provide the definition of beach life.

Went to mamangal beach, best beach, best sand, best view of mayon, but the accomodation has no mattress, will have to sleep on a bamboo bed. Puraran beach is also good, just farther from the airport. If you want to relax, this is the best place to stay at night. I recommend, go on a day trip early in the... More

Its white sandy beach & waves of the Pacific Ocean compliment wind surfers. From Baras town, no choice you must hire a tricycle to get to Puraran. P125 one way.

Huge waves. White sand. Cool breeze. But don't forget to bring food! There is a limited supply of clean water and food here so better bring your own meal. Teens, kids, and even adults will definitely enjoy here.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely at this chunk of paradise. We were traveling with some of her family from the Manila area and carpooled it the entire way. The cottages were sufficient as was the food. A special thank you to Irene and John for taking such good care of us. Even Brian, the four legged guard, managed... More
