The whole Prambanan complex is amazing. Really incredible temples and the power of volcanic activity in creating some of the ruins. Can get really busy. Do late afternnon

This temple is just north of Prambanan (less than 1km) and your entrance ticket covers this temple in the park; I don't totally understand why this would be listed as a different attraction in TripAdvisor. In the same temple complex as Prambanan. There is a free shuttle to take you from Prambanan to Sewu. It is quite a small temple compared to Prambanan and when we took the shuttle they just stopped for a few mins to take photos.

Candi Sewu is a Borobudur miniature. You can take the free little train from Prambanan temple, it's a 10 minute journey that will allow you to see it.

Most people visiting Prabananam do not walk the extra 700 m to see this hidden gem. do go there . It is wonderful and second largest Buddhist complex in Java after Borobudur.

This group of Hindu temples dates to the 9th Century. Absolutely amazing. Don't miss the experience of seeing it, especially at sundown
