This harbour & it's surrounding area is very dangerous especially at night, beware!. The onlyinteresting spot can be seen only marina harbour cafe. Only recommend for photography activity only with many people in 1 group.

The bulk of sea traffic goes to the modern harbour but at this 800 year old port they still use the huge 'phinisi' wooden boats as cargo ships. All the loading is done manually & it is interesting to watch all the activity. Excellent photo...More

We had a small walk at the harbour. That day there was no work done by the harbour-workers, so there was not that much happening. Nice to see the boats but it was not a must see for us.

Very interesting site. Especially if you have a love for boats and seamanship. You can take a moped taxi from rail stations. then walk from one end of the pier to the other. Then you can hire a small boat and captain very cheaply to...More

Such an classic harbor who has lots of older boar who park in the side of harbor. Definitely you will getan awesome view of the phinisi. It's originally from makasar. Truly recommended for you who loves photography to come to this harbour.

No fish market in this area. But you can go to muara karang and there you can find more fishes and seafood - better in the afternoon.
