Somewhat small but wonderful collection of prehistoric, colonial and cultural artifacts. Some of these are fairly significant. Ask the friendly staff to tell you more about the pieces that peak your interest. It helps them practice their English and it gives you more background. Win-win!

Entrance fee is IDR10,000 One building was under renovation but there was no announcement outside. The museum is spacious. The displays are not organized.

I heard the name of national museum from my friend and i feel curious, i decided goes to that place, when i've been there to many art from indonesian people, the art very absurd and random but nice maybe it has meaning which is good.

From the Airport you can go directly to the the museum and the you can put your bag in the locker of the museum, there is a man in the next step of the ticket counter to put your bag. Must be count the time from the airport... More

Yes the museum is kids friendly in terms of free spaces but if you mean "kids friendly" in terms of activity I think not. But the museum is really big and you can enjoy it.
