It offers cheap clothes and famous for wholesaler around the country. Buying clothes here when you need many clothes to buy with cheap prices. It is always full of people from everywhere. There are many blocks of it, usually I go to block A-B or F for the cheapest clothes. You can reach the market by mass transportation or taxi... More

Crowded with people, during my visit they start closing at 4pm local time. If you plan to come here make sure plan your journey as the traffic to this location so terrible, I stay just about 2 km from this location but it takes 2 hours plus to arrive to my hotel with uber. The place so big, cant finish... More

I was amazed with the size of the place. You can find here all you want. Also just great to see another side of jakarta culture. Unfortunately we arrived close to the closing times, so we had no time to explore much. Great place to buy souveniers!

If you're shopping for batik, muslimah fashion and such, then this is the place. Price however depends on your bargaining skills (& luck). Sometimes shops at lower levels can be cheaper (i bought my pants for Rp70k & the same pants at Grd Flr is Rp120k... Not a place to bring small kids. It hot, packed with people and it is... More

I visit Tanah Abang Blok A-B once or twice a month. I can't ever get enough of browsing this place. So many textiles, kebaya, batik, moslem wear, baby stuff, sewing equipment, etc. Wear comfortable outfit, bring cash, be there early (most sellers open at 830-9am), and have early lunch at 11am to avoid the crowd at the foodcourt (Blok A... Fully airconditioned. But some areas are filled with the smell of cigarettes. Largely selling muslim wear- textiles - bags , luggages etc.. you can... More
