It is a Catholic church, the interior is fabulous, but the parking is limited, especially on Sunday..

The Jakarta Cathedral is opposite the Istiqlal Mosque. This cathedral is the Catholic Roman Cathedral which is also the seat of the Roman Catholic archbishop of Jakarta. You can visit it daily without entrance fee.

Visit here with few friends. Lovely ornamen and interiors. Quiet sanctuary and nice place to pray. I saw birds flying inside the church, but attendants were not bothered. The atmosphere inside is really sacred. Would love to come again.
