Sun Yatsen Mausoleum us a peaceful place. You can plan to visit it besides another destination (ideally "the purple mountain"). The place is not very big but it gives great informations about Dr Sun Yatsen.

We went to see the Sun Yatsen Mausoleum during a one day trip to Nanjing. It is a bit of hike to get to the top, but the views are worth it. The building is beautiful and architectural is very detailed.
A very worthwhile visit that is very popular with Chinese tourists. You can spend an enjoyable day walking around the Purple Mountain area.
