A bit of a stair climb to visit the tomb itself but well worth it for the views alone. Very worthwhile to read some of the family history before you go to understand the Chinese political mindset.

Great travel experience, full of historic moments and interesting facts. The climb was pretty tough though-293 steps. Would recommend to people who like exploring but not to the elderly who have aching bodies.
