I really enjoyed the cable car ride. It was a long wait going up and back the day we went, but the views were worth it.

We visited early in the morning but had to queue for tickets and then queue to get on the cable car. We chose the crystal floor and there were 8 in the car. This was just about enough room to sit comfortably whilst enjoying the...More

Although it is a long waiting to get the tickets and an equally long waiting to get into the cabin, it is worth the time and patience. Beautiful view of the green side of Hong Kong, travelling above the Lantau forest. Tip1: the crystal cabin...More

Fabulous views of Hong kong- really worth doing. My only criticism is the massive queues. I'd recommend you buying tickets beforehand as that queue moved much quicker

An amazing experience to go on. 5.4km of cable car over some of the most pristine areas of Lantau Island. Great 360 degree views and if you have the guts get a glass bottom car for that extra adrenaline rush. The ride takes you up...More

Tai O the fishing village they market was flooded in the last typhoon and lacks government support. The dolphins are going extinct due to mega infrastructure projects. The locals want to move the feral cows off the island. The water is full of raw sewage...More

Well worth going up the cable car. Buy dock tickets in advance, to avoid queue for several hours. The more daring bought ticket to the cabin with glass floors. Cool view.

Yep only good(ish) because I think the advertising is s bit misleading. The good. You skip the queue and get straight into a Cable Car you’re up in the village before you know it. Meeting point is clearly marked. Tea house is a bit staged,...More

It is better to buy the ticket online prior to the ride to save time on the long line up! The special package - Crystal to and Regular back is totally worth the money! The quick clean up of the inside window by the staff...More

We booked specific times and were a little concerned like you, but they are flexible and allow you on board early or late. Key thing is buy the ticket and jump the queue, to save time as it can become very busy.
