Imagine tehere is not enough place to build things around what would you do? I am sure you woul do the same as Hong-Kong citizens do which is building skyscrappers. Besides the magnificent view of illuminated aura of skyscrappers there is also a laser-water show at nights which is amazing must see event. This show is best watched from Canton... More

In Tower Two the helpful staff directed us where we had to go for "Level 55" - a free museum/display which happens to have one of the best views in Hong Kong. You need to show photo ID and they give you a visitor pass to wear whilst in the building. We sat up there for ages on the comfy... More

A great free viewing "platform". View is not 360 degrees, the view over Kowloon is obstructed, but great view of the island and parts of the harbour. It's located on the 55th floor of two ifc, simply asking any security guard to get to the 55th floor will get you directed to the correct reception where you will need some... More

While most people go to the IFC to shop in the huge mall, it is possible to go up to the 55th floor observation deck for free! Go downstairs to the lobby and get your visitor pass at the desk right in front of the elevators. You will need picture ID (we used our passports). You can learn about the... More

Inside The shopping centre there is the possibility to enter and going up in The second skyscraper of The city. On the deck floor there is a museum which show the history of Hong Kong. After read it is possibile to see the city from the high with a 180-200 degree view

A beautiful mall with great view and excellent transportation connections. Not a big size but shops, cafes and restaurants are of great quality.

I wasn't able to get inside this building but I can say that it really stands out! It's so tall, you cannot afford not to look and appreciate it!

International Finance Centre is a massive complex of offices and a huge shopping mall with high end shopping. It is very busy with a mixture of shoppers, office workers and tourists. You can catch a train here direct to the airport. There are lots of eating places and we at one of the many coffee shops: soup, smoked salmon roll... More

If you want great views of the Iconic views of the HK skyline this is the building to head for. We went in the restaurant on the 100plus floor and enjoyed a meal with a view. Apparently on the top there is a swimming pool health suit that is pricey but worth s visit if you have time. We may... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
