Quite a lot to see in Yau Ma Tei, I usually go to the Fruit Market in Yau Ma Tei because it is a wholesale market and sells cheaper.

There are lots to see and do in this local area. The area is also lined with kitchenware shops. We visited an important local Chinese temple, a jade market, a historic theater, large fruit market and local eateries. The Temple Street Market came alive at...More

This area is very similar to the other areas around Hong Kong. Same sort of shops and the same hustle and bustle.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at the Nathan Hotel located in this area. Many shops along the street, mostly Chinese Medical Halls and restaurants. Good spot to experience the local cultures and lifestyles.

Area steeped in history with many spaces and buildings to absorb the atmosphere. An area to explore for those tired of glitzy TST and brash Mong Kok.

The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong
Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong
Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma
Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in

Hi. I'll be flying to Hong Kong Sunday and will stay until Tuesday. Interested in that cinema that features art films. Does it still exist? Where exactly in that neighborhood is it located? Thanks.
