All Attraction outside are closed for your information so be vigilant in Hong kong when going there and check the meteo. - Javiz AHong Kong, China152 contributionsA full day in DisneylandA full day in Hong Kong Disneyland with my wife. I have never visited any Disneyland before and inly see in cartoon or in a movies. But during the pandemic of Covid-19 last year September we both decided to spend a day in Disneyland. It was lots of fun and a very hot day, I normally don't like when the day is too hot even I was born in a tropical weather country I like to be a cool weather places. I love winter. We both enjoyed the Iron Man studio, and many other activities during this day, even I have to be on overnight shift the very same day I decided to spent a day with my wife... :)Visited September 2022Written 15 January 2023
- vchinHong Kong, China38 contributionsMagical Moment in HK DisneylandHong Kong Disneyland is not very big, but you will have enough time to visit most of the attractions as the staff work very efficient. The new firework and lighting is amazing and beautiful. The Frozen castle is almost ready, can't wait!!Visited February 2023Written 5 March 2023
- Thera NgKuching, Malaysia22 contributionsFirst time visit Disneyland, the theme park looks very dramatic. We have e tickets and express ticket to scan in. This attraction is wonderful, fun and enjoyable. Disneyland has a lot of fun activities, rides, adventure games, drama and attractive views. There will be very helpful if we refer the map or download HK Disneyland app before hand and enjoy it as you won’t miss any interesting activities or the things you like. There always will be crowded you may reach on time when they start and you could see their show at Main Street, some of the place you have to queue for a while. This place we have to spend whole day here since we have paid for it. You are be able to find a lot of foods inside Disneyland.Visited March 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 March 2023
- Edmond LSingapore, Singapore342 contributionsSmallest Disneyland - but short queuesWent with my 7 year old boy. Every ride was at most 10 to 15 mins wait. We did many rides together and it was amazing. We also had numerous photo opportunities although the best is with Iron Man.Visited March 2023Written 17 March 2023
- Untung TManila, Philippines153 contributionsIf you love Disney, this is the place to go. If you don't, still worth the visit!I bought tickets online as I was worried the queues will be too long and we would waste too much time. We went on a Wednesday and despite it being extremely full in the morning opening at 10.30am, I saw the lines cleared very fast. We took the mtr from the city and going on the disney train was unfortunately packed like a can of sardines. The train was so beautiful, but we couldn't enjoy it due to the fact that it was too crowded. We were conflicted before travelling to Hong Kong, whether to opt for the VIP entrance with 8 rides fast track, or the regular entrance tickets, which allows you to ride everything, but you got to queue. We opted for the regular tickets and were not disappointed. The queues advertised were supposed to be 10-15min wait. However, all rides we went on were less than 10 minutes, despite the crowds. The longest we waited was for the lion King performance. Which was understandable afterwards, as the show was simply fantastic! Food was available everywhere, a bit pricy, but it was good! If you plan to visit, make sure you plan ahead what to visit first and look at the disneyland map, which is available online. You can download the disneyland hong kong app, which has performance schedules as well, as you don't want to miss parades, meet and greets, as well as performances. I personally love the performances as they were live singing and it was just magicalVisited March 2023Travelled with familyWritten 31 March 2023
- Happiness300317491121 contributionTrip to Hong Kong Disneyland - Very detailedI walked in to and it immediately felt very nice, and I really like how they show what you can see inside the park and how some characters will greet you although the security was quite a long wait. I really felt like another world and I liked how the building look very different to the ones I usually see. The shops had MANY different things I could buy, clothes, mugs, cups, pens, key chains etc, and there where many characters from Disney. The big Castle was very detailed and VERY big although I wish I could go deeper inside. Some thinks that could be better is the food, there was many different foods but some were not the best but the desserts are really good.Visited December 2022Travelled soloWritten 12 April 2023
- Eliza Dong3 contributionsI LIKE DISNEYLANDMy family and I bought tickets online since my dad was worried the queues will be very long as it was Sunday. We took the MTR and thought the train was so pretty but it was too expensive for a normal MTR to take. First, we went to play a roller coaster, It was so exciting. The longest we waited was for the Disneyland child draw-free lesson but it's so good! You can add the Disneyland hong kong app, which has performance schedules very well and lovely, as you don't want to miss parades, meet and greets, as well as performances. My family and I love the performances as they were live singing and it was just magicalAfter 2 hours, we went to the restaurant to eat lunch, I bought Mickey Bread. Finally, when we came back home, I was disappointed as we only 6 projects because of the traveller so much so I thought if I can go to Disneyland twice, I will buy the VIP cards with my friend and family.Visited March 2023Written 12 April 2023

I went to Disneyland this time with my friends and it was fun. The best was Mystic Manor. - Windy DevitaJakarta, Indonesia260 contributionsThe smallest - but still a magical place on earth! It is indeed the smallest Disneyland in the world, but it does not disappoint! You still get the magical experience being in the happiest place on earth, with familiar shapes of your favorite characters in your meals, and the shops are to-die-for! I enjoyed the shops more than the rides as I wouldn’t want to spend more than 40 mins for a queue. Aside from that, great place!Visited March 2023Travelled soloWritten 20 April 2023

One of main reason we went to Hong Kong was getting ourselves to Disneyland. Basically, it's the closest Disneyland to us Indonesians, the next one is in Tokyo. We dedicate one day of our trip to this amazing theme park. Getting here was also easy thanks to the MTR, most importantly using the MTR is what I recommend because you get to ride that unique Disney MTR train. Better start your day early morning, be there at least half an hour before opening time to avoid long queues. Buying and booking for tickets early also will save plenty of time. Spend your time here at least until in the evening to enjoy the parade but maybe stay a little bit longer for the fireworks.

I recently visit and while this is supposed to be the happiest place on earth, it fell short due to the staff. The place itself is nice and small and they had the Christmas lights out which all looked fab. But it was let down by a majority of their cast members. They were just miserable, not friendly at all. I get that HK climate is hot and it is not all that great to be working in the humidity and heat, so the folks working outside cannot be all happy all the time, but the cast mates in the air-con shops are just as miserable. I went into one particular store, and spent a large sum of money and the cash register couldn't wait to serve the next customer and it was obvious. I wasn't being demanding or rude, just wanted to purchase my items and even this short interaction she couldn't wait to get rid of me.
We went to see the Lion King show and that was fantastic, the cast members in the show were all smiles and enegetic and it can't help but bring a smile to your face. I would highly recommend it.
The map is now all app-based, which I didn't know and it was never mentioned upon entry, which would of been nice if it had. But the app is useful once you know about it/download it. The food in Disneyland wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be if I am honest, but the hotel at the hotel is a different story in another review :)
We were disappointed when the Mickey show was cancelled last minute after we had sat down and they sang the intro song - they just out of the blue said it was cancelled and asked us to leave....after waiting for some time as well. We were offered fast track tickets to some rides, which for us were useless as we'd already been on the Winnie the Pooh ride and the other rides included in the ticket were not suitable for all of our group. We only stayed for around 4 to 5 hours and didn't know about most of the new stuff until we left. We would probably go back if we had time and a desire in the future, but the general miserable cast mates will probably be the same. The entrance fee is very expensive for what it is though. Nearly £70 for adults.

We are big Disney fans and have been to many parks. Although this is the smallest one, with the least rides, it is great for someone who is not looking to do that much walking. The queues are not long (you just have to time it right). We went to Mystic Manor in the afternoon and the line was 1 hr. After dinner that line was 10 mins. The Halloween parade was cute but there were only 3 floats which was disappointing. The Wicked show (where they normally have Lion King) was very good and we also enjoyed Mickey and the Wondrous Book (don't have that at Disneyland in Anaheim).
It was fun to watch all the guests dressed up (we went a few days before Halloween) and some of the costumes were very elaborate. I think people in HK tend to dress up more in Disney theme which makes it very fun. As with all Disney parks, you need to eat early to avoid the crowds. We ate at the Royal Banquet Hall for lunch and Starliner Diner (Avengers theme). By the time we finished eating the lines were out the door just to place an order and no tables to be found. The food was very good (for theme park food) and very reasonable.
The best part was the Momentous show at 9pm with castle projections and fireworks. We got there around 45 minutes before it started but all the seating areas in front of the castle were taken. Unfortunately we left halfway through just to get out to avoid the huge stampede (especially if you are using the MTR). I finished watching it on Youtube (Hong Kong Disney Geek has the best video, front row seat and the music is just amazing) I think Momentous is one of the best shows in all the Disney Parks I have seen.

This was my second time to Lantau Island. I took the cable car. THE WAIT to buy tickets was not bad. The journey was good. Beware of the steps to see Buddha. If you have heart problems then you should drive . The stairs are beautiful but can impact your heart. I suggest that you pause after every few steps.

Not only children but adults and seniors are also amazed and fascinated by the Disney extravaganza!!
It is impossible to see the whole area within one or two days. Best is to visit those places which are dear to you and leave the rest for another time. Shows, parades, attractions, rides, concerts, interactive dealings, gifts, facilities etc etc are all spectacular and well coordinated to give you an ethereal experience.!!
Makes you wish you are a child again!!💖💖

Fun if you're not looking for extreme rides. They had the same rides from 5 years ago but it was still fun since I was with different people. Most lines were fast but in the late afternoon the lines became extremely long so best come early.
saw some Disney characters but was not able to take pictures with them since we needed a reservation, not sure how or where to do it since the staff was not able to elaborate.
Fireworks show was really nice too.

Please advise what are the nice food options inside Disneyland for both lunch and dinner. Thanks!!
Untung T

Food options are available in the restaurants, food court and food cart/stalls, however slightly overpriced and mediocre quality. as there are no other options and you can't bring in food, it leaves you with the only choices of either going to the restaurant or eating the snacks at the food stalls. as we spent all day there and gotten really hungry, we ended up eating from all the stalls we passed by, a snack, burger, fish'n'chips, turkey, sweets, here and there, just to make sure we got the most out of the park without spending too much time in one spot. food stalls quickly run out of food, when bigger groups are around, and only replenishing slowly. about 2 hours before the light show and closing, food stalls are selling out and slowing closing, depending on the location.

Hi Lisa 1983x,
About your question I checked and find that even no need to get special pass for disabled visitors, they will be served in special way. So don’t worry and enjoy the time in Disneyland when you visit.
Hope this will help your preparation.

Hi people Happy New Year to all. With the help of some of you I have some knowledge about the Disneyland ticketing and how to reach there conveniently. Thank you for that.
Now the question is I have a kid aged 2 years just wondering if I choose to take the taxi to Disneyland or anywhere in HongKong is that going to be a issue without a car sit or is there any specific rules around the country that should be followed. Please guide if you know anything about this and I will be be grateful. Cheers.
