With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. Knutsford Terrace is a pedestrian street that runs between the Mira Place mall and Observation Road just north of Kimberly Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. This has long been a popular strip, the equivalent of Lang Kwai Fong (LKF) in Central, where you can find a row of bars, restaurants and nightlife in TST.

For many years, this has been a lively and busy area with tourists, expats and locals sharing a round or two of drinks or a meal. These days, it is much quieter. Note, there are more restaurants in the upper floors of the buildings along Knutsford Terrace, not just the open alfresco places at street level.

Bar and restaurant turn over has been fairly regular over the years as well. Other areas in TST you can try are try for drinking holes include along Hart Avenue, the back side of the TST Empire Centre and along Ashley Road west of Nathan Rd.

This wasn't as good an experience as the guidebook suggests it would be. They are capitalising on their position by upping the price of everything and we perhaps would have eaten here except for the price and also how dark it was. Every restaurant could do with more lighting. It wasn't welcoming but looked a little foreboding as it was so dark

Have been going to Knutsford Terrace for many years all the way back to pre-handover days. Drinking establishments are more like bars / restaurants rather than pubs these days. Good array of different bars with good food options. A must visit for any visitor not wanting to travel to Wanchai or LKF and stay on the Kowloon side. A good mix of local, foreign & the alphabet kids (ABCs, BBCs and CBCs) in the crowd.

Easy to get to and a short walk from the TST MTR station.

Small but very lively area with good vibe and happy atmosphere. Some reviews on this page are talking about a particular bar or restaurant where they didn't have a good experience not the Knutsford Terrace area. Nothing less than LKF in my opinion specially if you happened to be in Kowloon area.

We drink here twice on our trip. It’s almost at the end of Knutsford Terrance, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are happy hour options until 2100 and free welcome shots if the staff encouraging you in get a sale. It a good people watching bar. The food is Mexican, we didn’t eat here but it looked pretty good and was popular.

One of my favourite places in Hong Kong. Has a vibe all it’s own, devoid of the cliche and sleaze of the Wan Chai strip, and the all night party atmosphere of LKF. Casual, cozy (especially in the winter), plenty of food options. A hidden gem! Each bar has unique happy hour deals, be sure to check them out! People who complain about it being dirty are probably not used to outdoor casual bar type venues, and would probably be more at home at Ozone or Armani with five star service and decor, but also drinks that cost three to four times as much.

We stayed in a hotel in Knutsford Terrace and were surrounded by bars and restaurants. We used mainly the Big tree bar during the happy hour and it was buy 2 beers and get 1 free. Plus had eats at various bars and was all very good. Very very busy at night all the way along the Terrace. Great atmosphere and would recommend. Enjoy

We had drinks at Maze, but there are about 10 restaurants/bars on Knutsford terrace to choose from all on this walking only street. If you are looking for the mid-levels atmosphere on the Kowloon side, here it is.
