Great atmosphere, especially as a Chelsea fan during the FA Cup Semifinal. Lots of great energy, if you follow PL.

Maybe we were unlucky on the day that we visited, but the Sunday roast dinner wasn't what I was expecting - I had been asking around our friends and researching Hong Kong roast dinners online so that we had somewhere good to take our family when they visited. Having read some great reviews, I was disappointed that we got no... More

A great pub themed as Scottish, an oasis in the madness of the Wanchai area, it is possible to have a nice quiet drink, have visited many times, comfortable and welcoming, also sports screens. It feels like you are back in the UK when sitting there.

Difficult to distinguish from an ordinary English pub.The customers may be a little different with tourists and the occasional expat .Do you want to watch sports on widescreen and drinking single malt whiskey, then it may be your place on earth.Hardly worth a longer trip.

A nice break from the 'English' bars... irn Bru and a great selection of whisky. slightly more into the rugby than i care for but as a Scot visiting Hong Kong I'll always pay it a visit... at least for the breakfast and a wee irn bru for the wife.

This used to be a really nice pub, but now they seem to have re-targeted at large noisy tour groups/speed dating parties/etc. They have cut back the beers on tap, removing every interesting and leaving just a few boring lagers. Definitely off my list.

Perfect for watching your favourite sports, tucked away from all the crowds its the closest thing you will find to a British pub.

Stumbled across this place while meetin friends in Hong Kong and as i am from Scotland then thought i would give it a try, i ordered the full scottish breakfast and some drinks, Staff were very friendly but the full Scottish breakfast was disappointing although the other food which was served was good.

Being Scottish/Canadian and U.S. expats, we like to experience a wee bit of home now and again, wherever we can. Tried the 'Canny Man' for dinner. It was good. First visit but will definitely return.

We love all the great Asian food and experiences in Hong Kong, but once in a while it's lovely to chill out somewhere with familiar food, drinks and music. The genuine warmth of the staff makes it feel like home from home.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
