Welcome to Hong Kong, and thank you for considering me as your private guide. Hong Kong is a city still full of traditions, cutting edge structures, a density that will blow your mind and inhabited by steadfastly strong and enlightening people. As a huge bonus… it has some of the tastiest (and inexpensive) food in the world too.

I’m have had both my children in Hong Kong, and am now in my seventh year here. When I moved, my goal was never to be an outsider in this city, and so I spent the time (trying) to learn the language and all about its history and people. Sharing these insights with overseas guests and being your friend in Hong Kong is what I am most passionate about.

I was lucky enough to receive my Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014, 2015 and now 2016 having done over nearly 500 tours now in this city, I mostly work with families, but love to help individuals, groups and businesses as well and pride myself on making your trip as bespoke as possible.

Book on one of my private tours and let me take the lead on this trip!

Please note I am NOT part of the Global Greeter Network.

There is a reason Amy has so many 5 star reviews - and that's because she's such a wonderful host. She's everything you want your host to be, friendly, enthusiastic, engaged, attentive, welcoming, fun. And passionate and knowledgeable about Hong Kong and it's young history. We were travelling as a small family, just myself and my two young teenagers, and... More

This was a definite "Bucket list" scenario! We had an amazing time! Stunning views, unlimited drinks, great boat, nice food, friendly people, whats not to love! We were in the heart of HK harbour enjoying a non-obstracted view of Chinese New Year fireworks in an intimate atmosphere (hardly 40 people). Amy kept communication very informative and very professional. I really... More

Amy picked my wife and I up from the cruise terminal (with our luggage!) and took us to the top "must sees" of Hong Kong. She was very knowledgeable and personable and she was tolerant of this "older" couple (75, 69) who walk a bit slower and need to use the restroom pretty often!! She was fluent in the Cantonese... My husband and I visited Hong Kong for a few short days as part of our honeymoon in December 2016; neither of us had ever been before and we wanted to make sure we saw as much as possible in the short time we had. We were also a little concerned about learning to find our way around quickly and... More

We found Amy to be very reposive to our questions leading up to the booking and she presented a well organized tour. She communicated prior to our departure from the cruise ship and arrived on time for our four hour tour of Hong Kong Island. Her knowledge of history was extensive and she led us to a perfect lunch stop.... More

We were in transit in Hong Kong for 18 hours before flying onto Europe, and Amy's great guiding allowed us to see more in a 6 hour tour than we could have seen in days by ourselves. She met us at the airport, told us what train cards to buy, caught the train into town, had tea at the Ritz... More

Great NYE boat trip on Victoria Harbour. Very well organised and Amy was a great host. My family and I had a great time with some really nice people and loved watching the fireworks over the harbour. There were some issues with the food which is why I am only leaving 4 stars but overall the experience was great and... More

Amy took us on our tour and it was brilliant she has so much knowledge. We would never had experience any of this on our own it really pays to get a greeter. Within minutes we were like old friends and she tailored the tour around our age and ability. The tour made our visit to Hong Kong so enjoyable.... More

I know HK very well, in fact I've lived here for over 9 years. So when I booked a tour with Amy for myself and some visiting relatives I didn't expect to see anything new. I was very wrong! Somehow Amy has found some incredible places, and the background stories to bring them alive, that mean even a permanent resident... More

I booked a one day tour with Amy based on her Trip Advisor rating. She delivered above and beyond my already high expectations! We covered a lot of ground in just 6 hours, but I never felt rushed. She knows this city well and her passion for sharing her knowledge shines through. She was very flexible and she adjusted the... More
