The Convention Centre is very good. The place is large and accessible. Also, the staff are nice and the aircon is good.

I've attended trade shows here often. It is quite convenient to get to- ferry, MTR, taxi or walk. The place is well constructed and planned. It has several floors for trade shows, side events and restaurants within the complex though when there is a big trade show, better to eat early or late to avoid the crowds. There are also... More

Was here for a boxing event and the convention center is not a place I would recommend for sporting events. The single entrance way to the halls are better suited for multiple entry points (which were closed to funnel entrance to ensure tickets were checked) which are used for typical conventions. Place itself is very accessible and can host multiple... More

I went there to attend a conference during my recent HK stay. Easily reached with the MTR Island line, alight at Wan Chai and follow the signs. Huge building, lots of elevators, couple convenience stores. Good signage and rooms/halls are easy to find. Nice promenade outside with the Golden Bauhinia square that's worth visiting for a photo op.

It is just another huge convention centre. The facilities are good and the design are well thought off. The location may be a little off the MTR lines so a bit of walking is needed. The view outside is very impressive and slightly different from the usual as this is from the Hong King side as compare to the Kowloon... More

The building itself is magnificent at night it gets illuminated during the Symphony of light Show.. . it has got some finest and amazing views of th HK... More

The convention centre is well worth a look around and their may be an exhibition going on that you are interested in. Its and interesting part of town with some good views of the city landscape from here. There are stalls open to the public as well as exhibition areas which require registration and a fee.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
