Party zone... if thats what you're looking for

Its a must visit in HK, though in a few visits you would have seen it all. Bars mainly lined up around a couple of blocks.... the buzz in the evenings is great.

Kinda a very upmarket backpacker alley you would find in many a city, with the same Euro faces getting drunk and urinating in the back alleys. Lots of loud music and smelly bars (but sky high prices) if you like that kind of thing. We even witnessed a fight break out over a cab! Plenty of nicer places in HK... More

I don't shelter my kids - both boys - away from anything (one is 3, the other just tuned 8!) and they have travelled far and wide with us. From La Rambla in Barcelona to the streets of Bangkok (e.g. Patpong) and Phuket (Bangla Rd) and the crazy districts of Tokyo (Shinjuku and Rappongi) and this is to name but... More

Sing it with me "One Night in LFK and the worlds your oyster" The night started off innocent enough. A group of girls walking up an unknown street at 8pm looking for Karaoke. Stumbled across a 711 that had a bottle opener hanging on the newspaper stand. Found a quaint little bar - a tequila and some fruity vodka shots... More

We spent a few hours here after a day sightseeing and had some good food and drinks in the numerous bars. My recommendation is the Hong Kong Brewhouse.

You go out and just drink in the streets here. Get a beer from 7-11 or buy some shots at the various bars all around and just drink with your friends. Everyone is having a good time here

Interesting central are with bar after bar, but for me its just too much. With a focus on drinking and pretty much nothing else, I think that there are better places to be. Try the TST East Bars with their views of Hong Kong Island instead.

LKF always seem like a crowded and popular place on hk drama. Perhaps it was a wrong day when i was there. Many bars were empty and there were a number of shisha bars which appeals more to youngsters. Can give this a miss and move to Soho where the atmosphere, bars and restuarants is way better.

Still trying to hang on to its last vestiges of western partying, and colonism. Many bars and restaurants here. Among them, Hard rock cafe, Hooters, Bread Street kitchen. You get the drift

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
