At first I thought it cruel having these birds locked in cages, confined. I still do. There's all sorts of birds, large and small. There are numerous vendors selling everything related to birds. There are stalls selling live grasshoppers, maggots, seed etc. Vendors selling bird cages and stands. The different colors of the birds are beautiful. There is no fee,... More

The bird market is in a relatively small place but is interesting to see. Many people are showing their birds and some are selling them. Many purchases available too such as food, cages, etc. It is near to Fish Market and Flower Market.

This bird market is relatively small and interesting - there are all sorts of birds for sale and on display, together with all sorts of bird equipment and food, including bags full of live locusts and worms. I couldn't help but think that some of it was cruel, but then it was clear that many of the local people in... More

There is nothing on this street but birds, birds of every size, color, and kind. Birds singing, birds visiting for the day (more about this later), and many, many birds for sale, also bird cages, bird feed, and everything else necessary to raise birds. Many local bird owners bring their birds here in the morning and let them stay for... More

Went to the Bird Market. A little side alley that if filled with birds for sale…every size and shape…and cages and bird food. Now when we say bird food, we don’t mean bags of grain. We mean bags of live grasshoppers and bags squirming with meal worms. We had never seen anything like this…truly amazing. Song birds are kept in... More

It will only take 5 minutes or so to walk around this bird market. It was interesting to see so many birds in one place on sale but I wouldn't make the walk out to it specifically to see this market unless you're staying close by.

It's not really a street... More like a walk through. It's maybe a 5-10 min walk through. But if you're planning to do all the "market streets" anyways this one is ok. You really don't see this everyday. A bunch of birds of all colors and sizes. It's sad to see some of them. Some do not look they are... More

The place is not worth a visit unless your hotel is nearby. It's a really small market that takes 5 minutes to walk through. If you're expecting a nice market in a park setting, you'll be disappointed.
