Great view. I think the price was 90 HK dollar for one adult. It was a steep ride. Very cool. It was raining in the morning so we had to wait for 1/2 hour for the fog to clear when we came up.

this is one of the tourist spot that you must visit if you are in Hong Kong. There will be long queue almost every day & therefore should be there as early as possible. Night scene is superb

The long line from the tram going to the Peak is totally worth it. Best time to visit at night as you'll see the glow of the sleeping Skyscrapers of Hong Kong. I would strongly suggest to bring a tripod with you to have a...More

We started queueing for tickets at about 4.30pm as we wanted to catch both the day and night scene. If you want sufficient funds in your Octopus card, you can skip the tickets queue and head straight to the gantry to tap in. The tickets...More

Only the view is really worth going for, suggest an early arrival to beat the tour groups and large crowds, easy to reach from J2 exit of Central MTR station

Hi, will there be a lot of walking on top? What kind of shoes are appropriate? I'm coming to HK for 1.5 days and I have a business meeting later that day. So I was hoping I could come in the morning dressed for business. Will that be weird and uncomfortable? Also, will 2 hrs going and back to the bottom terminus be enough time? Thanks for your help!!

we took the mtr to central and there is a painfully long stretch of uphill slope you'll need to conquer if you're walking from the mtr station. On top of the peak it's just taking escalators. nothing much to walk. I think... More

Is the tram stroller (umbrella type) friendly? Also, is the walk from subway station to tram station easy enough with a stroller?

yes it is fine - the stroller will have to be folded up on the tram. It is an easy walk up to the tram station either up Battery Path via St Johns Cathedral from the Chater Garden MTR stop. But I don't like starting the... More
