Invited to dinner by family relations. A great setting overlooking the cricket pitch. Very convivial and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. For the first time in my life I ate Indian and Chinese food during one meal and both were well cooked and very tasty.

I had the great pleasure of being hosted for lunch here. Lovely cricket ground inside and you could be a hundred years in the past when you are seated at the dining tables,

KCC is a great club that offers many activities and services. We had a good lunch there and I enjoyed the lamb curry. We also played some air hockey there. Unfortunately for tourist you cannot go in unless you know a member.

Just off the busy TST / Nathan Road shopping street, the Kowloon Cricket Club is an oasis of calm harking back to the colonial days. We were invited by friends who are members, and it's great to have dinner outdoors. Lots of play areas for kids - indoor and outdoor. Wine selections could be better, as with the restaurant service... More

We know a member who occasionally brings us in, we tried their pool, basic but good coz it's only for members and their guests. they have a great changing room though. Have eaten at their restaurant, the Boundary Café, multiple times for lunch and dinner, they have a wide selection of dishes from Chinese to Indian to Western, lots of... More

I was a guest in the downstairs dining room for dinner last week. Ambiance, service, menu selection (we enjoyed Chinese/Asian cuisine for the evening), and solid Australian wines kept the evening humming. Its a largish room, but intimate seating is possible around the edges, and in fine weather the outdoors beckons. I would think this a solid venue for large... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
