This was my first time in Hong Kong & Macau. This was the transportation to Macau and back to Hong Kong it was very smooth. It's assigned seating and very comfortable seats btw. The funny thing is people rushing to get to their seats didn't make sense especially since it is assigned. I think since this was my first time... More

During our recent stay in Hong Kong, we decided to take a half day trip to Macau. We were given directions by the hotel concierge to take a cab to the ferry terminal and to take the Turbo Jet Ferry. After purchasing our tickets, we went through immigration (because you are leaving the country) and boarded our ferry to Macau.... More

You can get discounted tickets if you look around we took the Blue boats and with in the port area there was a travel agent place that sold the tickets for $20 HKD less. The trip back to Hong Kong is more expensive so if you have an Idea when you want to go back buy a return ticket. Some... More

I much prefer Turbo Jet boarding at Macau Ferry Terminal on Hong Kong Island than to board the speed boat from some other ports in Kowloon. Just personal preference.

After reading reviews we decided to pick Turbojet over Cotai. We read about the seasickness which could happen, so we never doubted about taking Superclass ticketsk. I think they're double the price but for us it was worth it: On the way going to Macau the superclass was located on the topfloor. The layout is like a big plane with... More

Went to Macau via the Kowloon terminal. A little confusing sorting out the tickets, but one of the ever present Indian tailors pointed us in the right direction! There was a storm warning current but we went anyhow. It was a grey, rainy day, as you would expect(!), but the ride was smooth. We went Super Class and were shown to... More

The ride was 1 hour. The seats were comfortable. I believe the seats were recycled from an old airplane. One thing I must warn visitors is there will be ticket scalpers right before you get to the TurboJet ticket counter. They will offer you a discount if you pay cash for the tickets. Do not purchase these tickets as most... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
