This is a beautiful and lovely park to stroll in, although some of the walks are quite strenuous and require you to be in very good shape for the climb. Still, the beautiful green surroundings and the view of the Plover Cove reservoir - are just incredible and worth it.

Firstly you really need to be fit to do this hike and have a good footwear. Also, take with you food and enough water for a 5 hour hike as once you begin there is nowhere to get supplies. We took the 52B minibus from the minibus station at Fanling MTR station to Hok Tau reservoir. We got off at... More

Too far out from the city centre. However, this is a heaven for nature lovers since the air is unpolluted and fresher. Plover cove is mistily beautiful especially at twilight. Love the BBQ facilities and some convenience stores avail for holiday makers. There is a dormitory nearby too called Bradbury Lodge.

Definitely worth going IF you enjoy strenuous hiking. AMAZING views in good weather! Depending on which way exactly you will start/end it will be about 16-19 km, very steep climbs and you will have to conquer a seemingly endless number of peaks. IF you are happy doing that and feel very well fit enough than you should go! Don't forget... More

I'm a firm lover of nice views, and pat sin leng has some of the best views in hong kong. The entire tai po area is visible, and the cool breeze cools you off after a hot walk (especially during summer months) ! The walk itself if indeed, very steep and only for the moderately to extremely fit. The entire... More
