We were there visiting CIS and got to look around the area. There are quite a few things to do and places to visit.

Rather surprised there is a coverage of North Point in TA too  Mainly ignored by mainstream tourists attracted by its more famous MTR stations nearby of Wan Chai, Causeway Bay etc this is quite an interesting. But be prepared for slow-moving crowd, lesser hectic...More

This is not a place for tourists but there is a good museum in this area and some decent temples. There are also good restaurants and some markets. Good neighborhood to wander about if you want to experience local flavor.

I come here to have my haircut/shave in Kiu Kwun, the oldest Shanghainese barbershop in HK over at Java Rd. In the process, we discovered they have an outlet mall (Nike and Adidas have shops here) and the surrounding aide streets have dozens of old...More

You may wander here through curiosity. There are markets, malls and ferries. A lot happens here becaus it is a local residential area with some offices thrown in. A lot like a soiled downtown area.

There were a few pubs and restaurants but they didn’t look like chain restaurants. The place looked more like for locals and I guess the people were calmer and relaxed unlike the areas in Causeway Bay or Kowloon. We stayed for a while and ate...More

Arguably the best cutlet pork chop in town. Very crunchy and taste good. Price is also reasonable. It good pork chop will the cabbage and a nice Japanese soup plus rice. Great food for a quick and enjoyable lunch.

North Point is a residential district which has little to offer a tourist. If you're on the ding ding, you may wish to hop off at the Marble street market to take a look and then hop back on another ding ding to continue seeing...More
