Spread over several roads, hundreds (well, maybe one hundred!) shops and stalls selling the most exquisite flowers and plants, especially orchids in all shapes, sizes and colours. A great place to wander, but most shops will not let you take photos.

This is a designated area for florists, flower lovers to pick their flowers, plants, fertilizers in bulk or just a bunch. Calling all photographers, travellers to get your camera and lens ready. This trip will not be disappointed!

The flower market road is a great place to visit if you have a little time and no money. There are streets around the actual market road as well to explore. The shops all sell flowers, orchids and potted plants but for the tourist it is a feast for the senses. The shop owners don't mind photographs, but stand outside... More

Basically it's lots and lots and then more shops of plants, heaps of orchids, beautiful bouquets, it's a nice place to browse, you're probably not going to buy anything, but worth a look, especially if you like orchids and flowers.

Worth spending an hour of your time in Hong Kong browsing the Flower Market. Whilst there have a look at the Bird Market-not to everyone's taste but gives an insight into life in Hong Kong.

We loved to visit gardens on our travels, so we decided to visit this flower market while in Hong Kong. We were glad we did. It was just before Chinese New Year and the vendors were all getting ready for the festivities. I’ve never seen so many orchids for sale before. There were lots of other flowers and plants too,... We caught the MTR to Prince Edward and then walked the short distance to the Flower Markets. It was close to Chinese New Year when we visited so the quality and quantity of the goods was amazing. We wandered along amongst the sellers and buyers and absorbed the beauty and action surrounding us. It cost nothing but our time to... More

I went here to get some orchids, they were fairly inexpensive and there was lots of choice. they packaged them up and lasted for weeks once I got home.

I actually just sort of stumbled into this place as I was looking for Starbucks for some coffee. I am so glad that I got lost and found this beautiful flower market in Mongkok district of Hong Kong. I love the varieties of orchids, the different flowers, and of course the tulips and tulip bulbs that were being sold. The... More
