Fa Yuen Street is apparently famous for sneakers and it really is. We had many chances to wander around Fa Yuen Street. We walked from the hotel and it took less than five minutes. It has a wide selection of sneakers (Vans, Adidas, Nike, Converse, New Balance etc.) and local food as well. Only one major thing you should be... More

The market is located on Fa Yuen Street and is closed for traffic, so you can take your time going through the stalls. The merchandise offered is anything from small electronics, tourist trinkets and clothing. Definitely worth a visit to see a local market.

We visited Fa Yuen St (or sneaker st) on a recent trip to Hong Kong. It did coincide with Chinese Holiday week so was extremely busy and frustrating. A few words of warning: Go early as the crowds are not so bad around lunch time. They only get busier from then and reach fever pitch by the evening. Be prepared... More

Fa Yuen Street has maintained a wide boulevard to welcome shoppers. The weather right now is made for street markets. Some good stuff in the stalls.

So many stores selling runners. Who would have thought. Lol. Check it out once. The business signs light up the street. There is other night market in the area too for shopping.

I'm a half-Hong Konger so I visit this place more than once a year. Recommended to not only walk the main streets, but also along the pavements. There are many shops selling clothes, food and some gift stores. It is possible to bargain at some stalls along the main road - more often than not, they will offer a lower... More

lots of shops carrying similar items but quality is so so. If U have plenty of time, U will find there are a couple shops that carry better items made locally or in China. Eg the White Garden on the Nathan Road side of Fa Yuen St. closer to Prince Edward Rd. I found some good dresses/tops for ~$150 ea.... More

It is a open area with different stalls. I regard it is interesting to walk along and see the cheap items. Not all of them are in high quality but we can't demand much with this price. There are also some shops on the 2 sides with Japanese products.

Great for cheap bargains or souveniers. We found this on the 2nd last day of our visit. Not much of a shopping place though
