I don't generally leave central, or go out outside of central. Think of central as manhattan, and other areas as the boroughs of NYC. Sure there are things to do in other areas, but why bother going.

Architectural styles range for the super modern to the traditional. Stores, malls, banks, the Peak Tram Terminal, so many restaurants it would take you years to eat in them all. Go - See -- Galk Enjoy !

This is were you find all of the major retail shops, bars, banks, restaurants and entertainment. You have to past through central to get to the tram to Victoria Peak.

Central is not only the financial district with mostly banks, financial institutions, but also many commercial buildings and shops. It is the centre of the city of Hong Kong, accessible by MTR and other public transports. There are ferries on the waterfront where you can go...More

Please see what it's like by being present in the Central District (Financial District in Hong Kong) from your home town's financial district in a small city such as Hong Kong! Feel it!

The most interesting part of the city. Here, besides the skyscrapers, there are several historic buildings (over 100 years old). The entire area can be walked along covered walkways elevated over motorways.

It's nice to walk around this area. One gets a sense of previous colonial times with the architecture. Beautifully landscaped gardens around here too.

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

I highly recommend the 48-hour Big Bus Tour pass. The green and red lines are terrific. I'm not as big a fan of the blue line, but by buying the pass, you can travel all three lines in the 48-hour period. You can jump on... More
