The main area of the city where the Rolex clock tower is located. At holiday times do not attempt to go there so many people. The square is surrounded by high end shops. Is a good place to visit of a night also.

We visited what our guide called 'our Time Square', and there it is - the monument to commemorate, as I understand it, the liberation from Japan. Once standing tall it is now dwarfed by the tall skyscrapers of modern down town ad surrounded by smart...More

Nice little monument. Good to snap a quick pic and then move on. It's beat to use it as a guide marker as many streets connect to this monument

Although dwarfed by the buildings around it, I like this monument and I think it is good to commemorate history.

The monument situated right in the city is a place of attraction for tourists and the locals. Beautiful landscapes and high-rise buildings are found along the pedestrian street where the monument stands.

The People's Liberation Monument right in the center of the square is an obelisk, not too high, that was built to commemorate the end of the Second World War and later transformed into a monument to hail the Chinese revolution. It's located in the most...More

It's hard to imagine, but when this WWII monument was originally built it was the tallest structure in the city! Now dwarfed by the surrounding skyscrapers, it still is a central spot to meet up with friends and have your picture taken when you are...More
