Not really much to see here. Just the usual people sitting and watching or sleeping. If you're foreign expect a lot of stares

Nice wide walkway. Very clean all flowers neatly trimmed. Not much else to do. End of walk has steep steps, but you can walk around them.
We visited here as part of a tour and it had a authentic feel of China. There were interesting staying accompanied by some nice metal work. The shouting opera was being performed at the time we visited, which was interesting.
Lots to see here and even just being in the square was quite impressive (brilliant photo opportunities). The three gorges museum and assembly hall defintely worth a look around too. Cafes in the square a bit expensive for China but had extensive tea menus.
The view of the People's Square and Assembly Hall is impressive when viewed from the front of the museum. This is a must see point when visiting Chongqing. Great for photos.

Great place for pictures. Contains a lot of Chinese's cultures in the buildings. Many sellers around trying to sell stuffs to tourists.
Flanked by the Three Gorges Museum and the Peoples Hall, one of Mao's first public works projects in 1951, this is quite a spectacular and large city square in this very populous city. It has several good coffee shops.
