I was there at sun set so it was pleasant, the park is so huge you need time to look around, but you will get tired and not able to view the entire Olympic park, Visit is a must.

Although we didn't have time to actually tour facilities it was worth the drive to view the facilities. The Water Cube (swimming) and Birds Nest One (Opening and Closing ceremonies) were very unique. We also learned that Beijing will host the 2024 Winter Olympics. It will be the first city ever to host both the summer and winter Olympics.

The Birds nest is a unique looking building. For a good view of the Birds nest & Water cube go up on the pedestrian walkway that goes over the highway

We took the rooftop visit for the Stadium and it was worth it although we had a long waiting for the elevator. This only goes up a couple of floors and is the only way to access the rooftop for fabulous views of the complex, but also the only way down again is also by the same elevators so you... More

Definitely worth a look to see the famous Bird's Nest stadium and walk down the avenues as well as visit the Olympic Pool areas. Some nice sculptures around too.

Although I had read some bad reviews about this are we still decided to visit. The day we went people were signing up for the Beijing Marathon so it was busy. As with most places in China get ready for a long walk. There is a lot of space between each building. There were some refreshment stops and there is... More

This amazing piece of architecture is well worth a short stop to have a look around. You can purchase tickets for various buildings. We had limited time but it was well worth a walk around the perimeter and driving around the villages etc.

We took a private car from the airport enroute to our hotel in Beijing and asked our driver to stop here for a quick visit. It was early in the day and there weren't many people around. We opted not to pay the admission price to go inside although it wasn't that expensive. Instead we satisfied ourselves by taking selfies... More
